Emirates Preparing to Equip Its Fleet with Starlink

Emirates has announced plans to integrate Starlink satellite internet service into its fleet, aiming to offer high-speed connectivity on 232 Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft. With the new service, passengers will be able to stream content, play games, and hold uninterrupted video calls in the air with speeds comparable to those on the ground.

The Starlink integration stands out as the latest step in enhancing Emirates’ onboard experience. In addition to its existing offerings—such as the ice entertainment system with more than 6,500 channels, the A380 Onboard Lounge, and the First Class Shower Spa—the airline is now improving its connectivity experience as well.

This development is progressing in parallel with Emirates’ ongoing refurbishment program, which covers around 220 aircraft. So far, 76 fully refreshed aircraft have returned to service, featuring the Premium Economy cabin, a revamped Business Class layout, updated First Class suites, and improved cabin details.
